Level switches (flange or threaded mounting) are used to protect your system against an oil level that is too low. They are available in different lengths and can be easily changed contact type.

If you want to turn a normally open contact into a normally closed contact (or vice versa), you only need to mount the float of the switch the other way around on the tube of the level switch.
